About Phoenix Badminton Club
Since our founding in 2011, Phoenix Badminton Club has grown into a friendly, competitive and thriving part of the local badminton community. We welcome lower-intermediate to advanced adult players who enjoy competitive badminton in a welcoming club environment.
We actively compete in the Aldershot, Camberley & District Badminton League, where our teams continue to represent Phoenix with commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship.
The 2025–2026 season was another successful year for the club. Our Open 4B team were crowned league champions, earning promotion to Division 2, while Open 4A finished 2nd in Division 1 and Open 6 finished 3rd in Division 1.
Our Wednesday Club Nights continue to be at the heart of Phoenix. As our membership has grown, we have expanded to four courts, giving members more opportunities to play. We have also introduced an Early Bird option, allowing members who want even more badminton to start from 8:00 PM and play through to 10:30 PM.
We also run our Levelled Club Night League, where members play competitive team matches against players of a similar standard. The format encourages members to play with different partners, gives developing players opportunities to challenge themselves against stronger players, and creates an enjoyable team atmosphere alongside our regular club-night games.
To maintain a high-quality playing experience, we use proper feather shuttlecocks for all games and aim to provide challenging, enjoyable badminton for players who want to improve their game as well as compete.
At Phoenix, badminton is about more than just winning. We are proud of the friendly community we have built and the commitment of our members both on and off the court. As the club continues to grow, we remain focused on competitive badminton, player development, fair and enjoyable club nights, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone.
